Introducing Social Leadership and the Social Age:
Join our two-part Leadership Masterclass – 18 and 25 November 2025
We’re excited to launch a new two part masterclass with Dr Julian Stodd researcher, writer, artist, explorer and author of The Social Leadership Handbook.
Many of us are currently leading and/or navigating unprecedented change in the NHS. Join Julian for a two-part interactive masterclass exploring how effective leadership happens at the intersection of systems, technology, and social movements.
What You’ll Gain:
- Fresh perspectives on distributed healthcare models and their leadership challenges
- Practical tools for building connection and belonging within your teams
- Strategies for leading change as a social movement, not just a process
- Enhanced skills for navigating uncertainty with curiosity rather than rigid planning
Why This Matters Now: As the NHS transforms through new technologies and new models of care, traditional leadership approaches aren’t enough. This research-based programme will help you develop ‘Social Leadership’ skills essential for today’s complex healthcare environment.
Interactive Format:
- Two connected sessions with peer learning opportunities and work in pairs, small groups and plenary discussions
- Collaborative exploration rather than lecture-style delivery
- Space for uncertainty and discovery alongside structured learning

Future-Fit Leadership: Psychological Maturity: The Next Step in High-Performance Leadership
Wednesday 26 November 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm
Psychological safety creating an environment where people feel safe to speak up without fear has become a major focus in leadership. But safety alone is not enough. The next step is psychological maturity, where teams can engage in healthy conflict, challenge each other constructively, take accountability, and grow together.
This session will explore how NHS leaders can move beyond creating “safe” spaces and foster a culture of high trust, critical thinking, and shared ownership where staff feel both supported and stretched to deliver their best work.
What We’ll Explore
- Why psychological safety is important but incomplete on its own.
- Learn leadership strategies that foster accountability, challenge, and growth.
- Understand how psychological maturity enhances innovation and resilience.
High Demand Alert – Current Status: Fully booked
Good News: We’re commissioning another cohort due to exceptional interest!
