Our regional Leadership and Talent Group meets quarterly to set the direction and champion the future of compassionate and inclusive leadership and talent for the health and care workforce in the North- East and Yorkshire region.
Bringing together health and care organisations and key stakeholders at regional level; the aim is to provide strategic leadership to ensure the implementation of the People Plan and to support the formation and maturity of statutory ICS boards.
The activities include:
- Succession planning and developing diverse talent pipelines
- Increasing the diversity of boards to better represent the workforce and communities we serve
- Driving culture change and providing the opportunity for leaders across the system to engage, inform and debate broader aspects of leadership, talent and organisational development
- Supporting the commissioning, co-ordination and alignment of leadership, talent and OD interventions at regional level
