Mary Seacole Local Programme – Cohort 31 – Limited Spaces Available
The programme is designed for first-time and emerging leaders. It runs over a six-month period, with learning delivered through the National Leadership Academy’s virtual campus. This includes programme films, interactive content, discussion forums, and online resources, alongside 6 half-day workshops virtually.
Each cohort consists of up to 20 participants. Organisations that are part of the NELA partnership will receive fully funded places. If your organisation is not part of the NELA partnership, a fee of £150 per participant will apply.

Mary Seacole Mobilisation Training – Limited Spaces Available
We have been successfully running this programme in the region for several years and we are now looking to expand our team of local facilitators to make the programme more widely available.
To enable facilitators to deliver the Mary Seacole Local Programme effectively, they must complete a four-day mobilisation training. This includes three virtual sessions and one in-person day with an NHS Leadership Academy approved Mobiliser trainer.
We ask Facilitators to commit to supporting at least one cohort of the programme within an 18 month period. You’ll have an opportunity to shadow existing cohorts before leading sessions independently and you will be paired with an experienced Facilitator in the early stages for additional support.
