Professional Leadership Passport (PLP)
North East & Yorkshire Leadership Academy (NEYLA) provide a wide range of development opportunities for staff at all levels in their Leadership Journey. These offers are designed to support understanding of personal impact, explore current challenges and identify strategies for future success.
The Professional Leadership Passport (PLP) is offered as a tool to support effective planning for future development, and to support reflection and understanding gained from developments accessed.
Programmes offered by NEYLA will be aligned to developing three key areas in leadership and management
- Leading Self
- Leading Others
- Leading for Quality
Using the passport will enable a supportive conversation with your manager/supervisor to agree your current level of leadership and plans for future development. This will help to identify the most appropriate offers to access, with use of the passport supporting evidence of learning within appraisal etc.
The passport will be maintained by individual users – NEYLA staff are not able to maintain these records for attendees.
Please take some time to read through the sample PLP and “how to” guide; you can then request access to the PLP by completing the request form and begin your Leadership Journey.
NB: Use of the PLP is currently restricted to organisations who are part of the NELA partnership (offered within the North East & Cumbria ICB). All eligible organisations are listed within the request form.
