Social Leadership in the Social Age: A Two-Part Leadership Masterclass
Places available – don’t miss this opportunity! : 18 and 25 November 2025
We’re delighted to introduce a new two-part masterclass led by Dr Julian Stodd—researcher, writer, artist, explorer and author of The Social Leadership Handbook.
Navigate Change with Confidence
Many of us are currently leading and navigating unprecedented change in the NHS. This interactive and evidence-based programme develops the ‘Social Leadership’ capabilities critical for navigating complexity in modern healthcare. It explores how effective leadership happens at the intersection of systems, technology, and social movements—providing you with the tools and perspectives needed to thrive in today’s complex healthcare environment.
Key Learning Outcomes
- New Perspectives – Understand distributed healthcare models and the leadership challenges they present
- Connection Building – Acquire practical methods to foster genuine belonging and strengthen team relationships
- Movement Thinking – Learn to approach change as a social movement rather than simply a procedural exercise
- Adaptive Leadership – Build capacity to embrace uncertainty with curiosity instead of relying solely on predetermined plans
A Collaborative Approach
This programme is not a traditional lecture format. Over two integrated sessions, you’ll experience:
- Collaborative learning with peers and shared exploration
- Paired activities, small group work and whole-group discussions
- Room for ambiguity and discovery within a structured framework
- Engaging, participatory methods throughout
Meet the Facilitator
Dr Julian Stodd shares research-driven insights through Sea Salt Learning, examining leadership challenges in complex organisational contexts. His expertise centres on Social Age concepts and exploring the Organisation as Ecosystem. Learn more about Julian’s methodology in his Quiet Leadership Guidebook.
