Jackie Kerr retires

Posted on:

Jackie Kerr retires after almost 13 years at the North East and Yorkshire Leadership Academy.  Jackie has had numerous roles in the Academy both within the Business team, and more recently in the Systems and Primary Care team.  But, as the kind of person who would roll up her sleeves and muck in when a job needed doing, she somehow seemed integral to every team across the Academy.

Jackie will be remembered most for her amazing ability to make everyone feel welcomed, valued and included.  Jackie’s calming, reassuring and inclusive presence enabled people to fully participate and contribute.  This was an amazing gift that was appreciated by everyone from new members of the NEYLA team, to participants at events, programme and project teams across the NHS, and the many individuals she provided HLM 360 feedback to.

On behalf of everyone at the team, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank Jackie and wish her all the best in her retirement – we’re certain she’ll be hugely missed by all.

If you have any memories of working with Jackie that you would like to share, please email these to [email protected]

Wishing you a Happy Retirement, Jackie!
