Yorkshire and the Humber-wide OD Network – Session 2

About the Network

The Yorkshire & Humber OD Network aims to provide a safe, supportive and barrier-free peer space where colleagues can connect, build relationships and share the brilliant organisational development (OD) practice happening across the region. The network is open to colleagues at all stages of their OD journey.

By creating opportunities for connection, shared learning and open conversation, the network seeks to strengthen relationships across the regional OD community, celebrate local practice and support colleagues to learn from one another.

Aims of the Session

The face-to-face session will provide an opportunity to:

• Reconnect colleagues and strengthen relationships across the Yorkshire & Humber OD community.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment for networking and peer learning.
• Share experiences, knowledge and examples of OD practice happening across the region.
• Explore organisational development and the OD process through a speaker presentation.
• Build confidence, encourage reflection and identify opportunities for future collaboration.

Session Outline

1. Setting the Scene
   An introduction to the re-established Yorkshire & Humber OD Network, its purpose, shared aspirations and the importance of creating a supportive space for connection and learning.
2. Relationship Building Exercise
   An interactive activity designed to help colleagues get to know one another, build connections and begin sharing their experiences, interests and perspectives on OD.
3. Networking and Informal Conversation
   Time for colleagues to connect, exchange ideas and continue conversations in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Refreshments will be provided.

Who Should Attend?

The session is open to colleagues working in or interested in organisational development across Yorkshire & Humber, regardless of their role, level of experience or seniority.

Whether you are established in your OD practice, new to the field, working in a related role or simply curious to learn more, you are welcome.

We encourage colleagues to come along with an open mind, a willingness to share and a curiosity to learn from others. You do not need to have all the answers or be an OD expert to take part.

This is a space to connect, share, learn and grow together — recognising the value that every colleague brings to our regional OD community.
