SUMMARY:Supervision Cafe
DESCRIPTION:The Global Code of Ethics requires coaches to possess the necessary qualifications and actively participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Supervision. Accessing supervision is deemed crucial for supporting the well-being and professional development of coaches and the coaching field.\nThe Supervision Café offers accredited coaches an opportunity to engage in group supervision. In this setting\, coaches can collectively address current challenges in their practice. The format is informal\, with facilitated supervision that includes: \n• Storytelling: Coaches share both positive and negative experiences from their work with clients\, along with the associated learning. \n• Exploring Challenges: A designated space for coaches to thoughtfully consider and navigate barriers to effective practice. \n• Celebrating Success: Recognition of the collective and individual impact of coaching\, with exploration of ways to replicate success. \n• Future Planning: Coaches collaborate in identifying common themes to inform the planning of future supervision sessions and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) initiatives.

SUMMARY:L&M Framework Regional CoP
DESCRIPTION:To support planning for implementation of the Management and Leadership Framework across the region we have offered a Community of Practice (CoP) since January 2026. This will now continue\, as a whole region CoP as we move toward launch of the framework. \nThe CoP is open to all staff working across the region to support implementation of the framework within their own organisations\, and is open to all health organisations across the region. Each CoP will have a theme to structure conversations and exploration of ideas such as appraisals\, data and activity reporting\, recruitment strategies etc. \nNB: These sessions are not intended to support individuals seeking to use the framework within their own development\, or line managers supporting their teams through self-assessment and goal setting. The focus will be on strategic organisational implementation\, with an assumption that all attendees have established a baseline understanding of the framework and its aims. \nPlease be aware that joining instructions for this event will be sent out seven days before the scheduled day.\nIf you register with the waiting list\, please hold this date in your diary as last minute cancellations may happen. We’ll do our best to give as much notice as we can should a place become available.

SUMMARY:The Curious Leader: Leading with intention in an interrupted world
DESCRIPTION:Today’s leaders are expected to think strategically\, solve complex problems\, inspire innovation and make high-quality decisions\, often while moving from meeting to meeting with barely enough time to refill a coffee. The challenge is not simply a lack of time. It is a lack of transition. \nThis highly practical session introduces the concept of thresholds\, intentional rituals that help us shift from one way of thinking to another. Drawing on research from psychology\, neuroscience and anthropology\, participants will learn how small\, deliberate practices can reduce cognitive overload\, improve focus and create the conditions for deeper thinking. \nRather than asking people to find more hours in the day\, this session helps them make better use of the moments between tasks\, conversations and decisions. \nLearning Objectives: \n\nUnderstand how attention residue and continual context switching reduce cognitive performance.\nRecognise different modes of thinking required throughout the working day and where cognitive friction occurs.\nDiscuss the value of rituals and thresholds in helping the brain transition between different types of work.\nIntroduce simple team rituals that improve meeting quality\, collaboration and deep thinking.

SUMMARY:The Curious Leader: Hope as a Leadership Practice
DESCRIPTION:Session Outline  \nIn today’s workplace\, uncertainty has become a constant companion. Restructures\, technological change\, workforce pressures and competing priorities can leave individuals and teams feeling anxious\, overwhelmed and uncertain about the future. While leaders cannot always provide certainty\, they can cultivate something equally powerful: hope. \nThis practical\, evidence-informed webinar explores hope not as wishful thinking or blind optimism\, but as a leadership capability that can be intentionally developed. Drawing on Charles Snyder’s Hope Theory\, participants will discover how hope is built through clear goals\, multiple pathways and a belief in our ability to take meaningful action. \nThe session also explores hope through the lens of a BANI (Brittle\, Anxious\, Nonlinear and Incomprehensible) world\, where anxiety can narrow thinking and diminish confidence. Participants will learn how curiosity\, reflection and purposeful action can expand possibility\, helping individuals and teams move from feeling stuck to finding a way forward. \nPacked with reflective exercises\, practical tools and leadership strategies\, this session will enable participants to leave with a personal Hope Practice they can apply immediately in their own work and with their teams. \nLearning Objectives \n\nUnderstand the difference between hope\, optimism and toxic positivity.\n \nExplore Charles Snyder’s Hope Theory and its application to leadership and organisational change. \n\nUse curiosity as a catalyst for creating hope and possibility.\n \nCreate a personal Hope Practice to strengthen resilience\, motivation and leadership effectiveness.
