Please note, applications are now closed.

We are pleased to announce that we are now open for applications for the ILM 5 Coaching and Mentoring Programme.

This programme is ring-fenced to North East and Cumbria organisations and will be funded by the North East and Yorkshire Leadership Academy.

The programme is open to NHS staff in leadership roles, with a commitment to supporting their own leadership impact through the development of others.

ILM 5 Certificate is an accredited programme  and successful completion leads to an award which is recognised across organisations.

Participants must complete all online learning activities, attend all virtual workshops, access group supervision and complete the minimum coaching hours (18 hours).

The 3 core Modules studied provide an in-depth understanding of the organisational context and contribution of coaching/mentoring, personal impact as a coach and critically reviewing developing competence, and the delivery of coaching sessions including critically reflecting upon the interventions used. These are assessed by 3 academic assignments, plus a reflective portfolio as evidence of coaching practice.

Applications are welcomed from staff in all roles and bands, but there must be clear demonstration of personal and organisational commitment to support learning and practice.
