SUMMARY:L&M Framework Regional CoP
DESCRIPTION:To support planning for implementation of the Management and Leadership Framework across the region we have offered a Community of Practice (CoP) since January 2026. This will now continue\, as a whole region CoP as we move toward launch of the framework. \nThe CoP is open to all staff working across the region to support implementation of the framework within their own organisations\, and is open to all health organisations across the region. Each CoP will have a theme to structure conversations and exploration of ideas such as appraisals\, data and activity reporting\, recruitment strategies etc. \nNB: These sessions are not intended to support individuals seeking to use the framework within their own development\, or line managers supporting their teams through self-assessment and goal setting. The focus will be on strategic organisational implementation\, with an assumption that all attendees have established a baseline understanding of the framework and its aims. \nPlease be aware that joining instructions for this event will be sent out seven days before the scheduled day.\nIf you register with the waiting list\, please hold this date in your diary as last minute cancellations may happen. We’ll do our best to give as much notice as we can should a place become available.

For many professionals\, AI tools are now embedded in daily work\, yet uncertainty remains about how to use them effectively\, ethically and wisely. \nThis practical and interactive session moves beyond “how to prompt” and explores how leaders can use AI as a thinking partner while strengthening\, rather than replacing\, human judgement. \nParticipants will discover how AI can enhance creativity\, decision-making\, communication and productivity without losing the critical thinking\, empathy and ethical reasoning that remain uniquely human. \nLearning Objectives \n\nUnderstand how AI is changing knowledge work and leadership practice.\nRecognise where AI adds value and where human judgement remains essential.\nDevelop better prompting strategies that encourage deeper thinking rather than superficial answers.\nAppreciate the risks of cognitive offloading and maintain critical thinking when working with AI.\nBuild confidence in having open conversations with teams about AI opportunities and concerns.\nDesign a practical 30-day curiosity AI experiment to improve one aspect of their own work.

SUMMARY:OD Network: Organisational Trauma with Gareth Evans
DESCRIPTION:We’re inviting anyone involved in OD\, change\, transformation or people-focused improvement work to take part. This includes those with OD in their job title and those without — if you work with people\, influence change or are curious about how to engage others in shaping their organisation\, there’s a place for you here. \nThe network aims to provide a safe\, supportive and barrier-free peer space where colleagues can connect\, build relationships and share the brilliant practice happening locally. It’s a space for those who may sometimes feel unsure\, isolated\, or “not senior or clever enough\,” as well as those who want to grow their confidence\, deepen their practice or simply learn with others. \nThis session will explore Organisational Trauma\, led by Gareth Evans\, Senior Organisational Development Manager at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. \nJoin us for an interactive session exploring organisational trauma and what it can mean for people\, teams\, culture and organisations — and for those of us working in OD. \nWe’ll explore: \n\nThe theory and impact of organisational trauma\nThe OT Spidergram and Practice Framework\nHow we can use these tools in OD practice\nHow to introduce organisational trauma into consulting and intervention conversations\, including with leaders\n\nThe session will combine input\, practical tools\, discussion and reflection\, with plenty of opportunity to consider how the ideas apply to your own OD practice. \nOptional pre-session reading and an OT Spidergram will be shared ahead of the event. \nCome along to learn\, reflect and explore how we might work with organisational trauma in thoughtful and practical ways.
