SUMMARY:Management & Leadership Framework Drop-In Session 1
DESCRIPTION:What is the Framework? \nThe Management and Leadership Framework responds to reviews of leadership in health and care\, including the 2022 Messenger Review\, 2019 Kark Review\, and supports the implementation of the 10 Year Health Plan for England. \nDelivery of the 10 Year Plan objectives\, and assuring safe and effective health and care services\, requires NHS managers and leaders who are confident\, capable\, and focused on the evolving needs of staff\, patients\, and communities. The framework will offer a consistent approach to current and future NHS managers and leaders. It will apply to all managers and leaders\, across all roles and organisation types. \nThe Framework currently consists of: \n\nThe management & leadership code: the principles and behaviours required of all managers and leaders across the health and care system\nThe standards:  the essential competencies needed for management and leadership – at every level\, and in every role type.\n\n  \nWhat will the drop in offer? \nSince September 2025 many organisations have joined weekly Socialisation Sessions hosted by the NHSE team leading this crucial work. We understand that not all organisations have been able to attend these\, and some may have opted to “watch and wait” as the work progressed. These Drop-In Sessions will offer those supporting the strategic roll out of this work within their own organisations\, providing space to explore the framework\, ask questions\, and hear form others about their approaches and actions so far. \nThe Drop-in will not offer guidance to individuals wanting to explore the framework for their own use. Support for individuals will come from your employing organisation as the framework and supporting tools are launched. \nAudience \nThese sessions are open to staff from organisations who have been part of Socialisation Phase\, and those who are just beginning to explore next steps in their organisation : \n\nSupporting the framework implementation within your organisation\nSupporting leadership development within your organisation\nSupporting delivery of appraisal processes within your organisation\n\n  \nThose who attend drop-in sessions will be given access to the framework micro-site to support their strategic reflections and planning for implementation \n

SUMMARY:Coaching Others Through Change
DESCRIPTION:Audience: All staff offering coaching support to clients impacted by orgnisational change \n“The quality of our attention determines the quality of other people’s thinking”\nNancy Kline\, Time to Think \nWorking as an internal coach can often bring a sense of connection and shared understanding within a coaching dynamic; however\, this can just as often be experienced as conflicting priorities and blurred boundaries. The complexity of internal coaching can be increased during times of large scale change\, with the resulting uncertainty experienced by both coach and coachee. \nThis workshop will provide an opportunity for coaches offering support internally during orgnanisational change to consider the impacts on clients and themselves. This workshop is open to internal coaches working at any level\, including those in training toward coaching accreditation (any route). \nJoin us to take time to explore\n• Creating an effective Thinking Environment\n• Human aspects of change\n• Recognising parallel process in coaching dynamics \nThis workshop will be virtual delivery\, but will require full participation with each other. Please ensure you join from an environment and device that will allow you to be “camera on” and to freely join discussions and small group activity.
