SUMMARY:Masterclass 5: Collaborating Through Distributed Leadership: A Systems Approach
DESCRIPTION:Session Outline \nDistributed leadership means that leadership responsibilities and decision-making are shared across multiple individuals\, teams\, or organisations\, rather than being concentrated at the top of a hierarchy. In the context of health and care\, it means that different stakeholders— including clinical leaders\, managers\, and community organisations—contribute to leading the design\, implementation\, and oversight of major programmes. This approach aligns with the need for collaboration across sectors\, especially within Integrated Care Systems (ICS). \nTo thrive in today’s complex environments\, leaders must be adaptive\, responsive\, and open to the diverse perspectives and contributions of others. In this module\, we will explore how to foster motivation and empowerment\, implement coaching strategies\, and create a culture of feedback that supports the principles of distributed leadership. Participants will learn practical ways to embed this leadership model into their practice\, ensuring that decision-making and accountability are shared for more effective and sustainable outcomes

SUMMARY:Supervision Cafe
DESCRIPTION:The Global Code of Ethics requires coaches to possess the necessary qualifications and actively participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Supervision. Accessing supervision is deemed crucial for supporting the well-being and professional development of coaches and the coaching field. \nThe Supervision Café offers accredited coaches an opportunity to engage in group supervision. In this setting\, coaches can collectively address current challenges in their practice. The format is informal\, with facilitated supervision that includes: \n• Storytelling: Coaches share both positive and negative experiences from their work with clients\, along with the associated learning. \n• Exploring Challenges: A designated space for coaches to thoughtfully consider and navigate barriers to effective practice. \n• Celebrating Success: Recognition of the collective and individual impact of coaching\, with exploration of ways to replicate success. \n• Future Planning: Coaches collaborate in identifying common themes to inform the planning of future supervision sessions and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) initiatives.
