DESCRIPTION:What is the Framework? \nThe Management and Leadership Framework responds to reviews of leadership in health and care\, including the 2022 Messenger Review\, 2019 Kark Review\, and supports the implementation of the 10 Year Health Plan for England. \nDelivery of the 10 Year Plan objectives\, and assuring safe and effective health and care services\, requires NHS managers and leaders who are confident\, capable\, and focused on the evolving needs of staff\, patients\, and communities. The framework will offer a consistent approach to current and future NHS managers and leaders. It will apply to all managers and leaders\, across all roles and organisation types. \nThe Framework currently consists of: \n\nThe management & leadership code: the principles and behaviours required of all managers and leaders across the health and care system\nThe standards:  the essential competencies needed for management and leadership – at every level\, and in every role type.
