DESCRIPTION:Managers Toolbox: Effective Delegation \nThe Managers Toolbox offers a series of sessions with the aim of strengthening and developing skills and awareness around managing people\, processes and problem solving. These workshops are open to staff holding a line management role\, which has opportunities for cross boundary working. \nDelegation is a powerful topic and tool. At a simple level it is about making sure tasks are done by the right people\, however an enhanced understanding of the skills involved\, and potential outcomes allows managers to release resources (own and others) and increase motivation and initiative within a team or organisation. \nBy attending this workshop participants will be able to:\n1.Be more able to use delegation as a tool to support the management of their own time\n& focus\n2. Feel confident to improve their focus and in their ability to managers to manage time\neffectively\n3. Can ensure that delegated tasks can be completed safely and reliably\n4. Develop an increased awareness of the value of delegation in developing initiative in\nothers \nPlease be aware that joining instructions for this event will be sent out seven days before the scheduled day. \nIf you register with the waiting list\, please hold this date in your diary as last minute cancellations may happen.
