DESCRIPTION:In celebrating 75 years of the NHS\, through Black History Month we commemorate the richness in leadership diversity. \nYou are invited to a storytelling session as we listen to colleagues share their leadership stories of resilience\, triumph and cultural heritage. Storytelling reminds us of the lasting impact of our words and actions on others. \n“I’ve learned that people will forget what you said\, people will forget what you did\, but people will never forget how you made them feel” – Maya Angelou \nOur guest speakers will reflect on their leadership attributes. These stories weave a career and leadership journey of Black colleagues; their passions\, why they joined the NHS\, and the struggles and achievements of their careers to date. Come and join the session to elevate the voices\, stories\, and achievements that have continued to shape lives and change cultures\, and contribute to the richness\, resilience and diversity within our region. \nWe look forward to welcoming you to the Black History Storytelling Session. It will be part of an enriching experience that celebrates the legacy of Black history and empowers us to continue creating and harnessing a more inclusive workforce for the future.
