Join us to gain insight and skills in the key leadership skill of how to start\, hold and complete a transformational conversation. \nMany managers find it difficult to step away from solution giving responses. Developing this leadership skill can support you in empowering and engaging your teams though relationships grounded in trust. SUMMARY:Mary Seacole Local Information Session
DESCRIPTION:The Mary Seacole Programme is a highly successful and nationally recognised leadership development programme for first time leaders in health and care. \nThe programme was designed by the NHS Leadership Academy in partnership with global experts\, Korn Ferry Hay Group to develop knowledge and skills in leadership and management. \nThe North East and Yorkshire Leadership Academy has a licence to run Mary Seacole locally for colleagues in the North East\, North Cumbria and Yorkshire building a richer talent pipeline of emergent leaders in the local health and care system. \n  \nThe six month programme includes: \n• 100 hours of online study which includes a virtual campus with interactive content\, films\, discussion forums and online resources. \n• 6 ½ day virtual workshops working with expert facilitators \n• 12 modules covering leadership fundamentals\, fundamentals of finance\, recruitment and selection\, fundamentals of HR\, appraisals and annual review. \n• A single written assignment at the end\, asking participants to reflect on their leadership impact. \n  \nInterested in applying? \nJoin us for an information session to learn more about the Mary Seacole Local Programme\, how to apply and the commitment required. \n  \nPlease follow this link to register on Eventbrite for this event. \n
