Supervision Cafe
The Global Code of Ethics requires coaches to possess the necessary qualifications and actively participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Supervision. Accessing supervision is deemed crucial for supporting the well-being and professional development of coaches and the coaching field.
The Supervision Café offers accredited coaches an opportunity to engage in group supervision. In this setting, coaches can collectively address current challenges in their practice. The format is informal, with facilitated supervision that includes:
• Storytelling: Coaches share both positive and negative experiences from their work with clients, along with the associated learning.
• Exploring Challenges: A designated space for coaches to thoughtfully consider and navigate barriers to effective practice.
• Celebrating Success: Recognition of the collective and individual impact of coaching, with exploration of ways to replicate success.
• Future Planning: Coaches collaborate in identifying common themes to inform the planning of future supervision sessions and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) initiatives.
