Resilient Compassion – Leading with Care and Respect Through Adversity – CANCELLED
Unfortunately this event has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. This session will be rescheduled.
This session will explore the situational, compassionate and distributed leadership approaches adopted by the South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to date through cultural development, and the ‘Leadership Learning’ that has taken place as a result. The session will be delivered by Kate Harrison, who has worked for South Tees Hospitals for 8 years. Kate has delivered training aligned with the strategic deliverables of the organisation through leadership development, OD interventions, HLM 360 facilitation and coaching and pastoral support to staff. She is responsible for the implementation of the Leadership Development strategy for the South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, incorporating relationships across the wider system.
Through this session, Kate aims to provide an opportunity for delegates to check in with their experience of the past 12 months. The session will also support delegates through open forum to explore how we, as a healthcare system, can learn and grow from the experiences of the past year – and how to use this journey as a platform for personal and collective growth in a leadership context.
Join us to explore the impact of compassionate leadership and share NHS South Tees FT’s story and reflections on what has worked, and what has been the learning:
• Explore the challenges and value in working in a flexible, agile way with teams.
• Explore the benefits of how our ‘physical presence’ in supporting operational colleagues has been managed, supported and received.
• The session will explore principles of individual and team resilience, compassionate leadership and civility.
This event is now fully booked, please register your interest on the waiting list.
